Flaming Gorge Travel is an independent, comprehensive guide to Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and the surrounding Manila and Dutch John area — built for people planning a trip, not for people trying to sell you one.

What we do

We maintain curated listings for dining, lodging, tours and experiences, and transportation around Manila, Dutch John, and Green River, covering the reservoir's three marinas, the Green River fly-fishing corridor below the dam, and the area's camping and trail options. Alongside listings, we publish trip-planning guides, a Recreation Use Pass helper, a marina finder, and a real-time weather forecast, so you can plan around conditions instead of finding out about them after you've packed the boat.

What we're not

Flaming Gorge Travel is not a tour operator, booking agent, or travel agency. We don't sell tours, process reservations, or take a cut of anything you book. When a listing links out to a business's own site or a booking platform, that's where the transaction happens — we're the map, not the middleman.
