We needed to find a last minute place to stay for the night while on a road trip. So glad we found this place! We stayed in the yurt which was awesome. They had a fish pond and super friendly farm animals you could pet/feed. Don't forget quarters, we only had one quarter to buy some food for the animals but it was still fun petting them. We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed in the larger cabin #3 for 3 nights while visiting Flaming Gorge with a family of 4. This place was meticulously built and maintained. The log cabin build and attention to detail is really amazing. The grounds were incredibly well maintained as well. Chickens roam the grounds and visit whenever you're outside. I'm guessing many people feed them, but they're a nice touch to atmosphere. In addition to the porch with a large bench, the cabin also had a picnic table, a large wooden table with no chairs, and a dedicated parking spot. The photo is a sunrise from the porch. The property is located toward the end of a quiet farming valley with cows and horses. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no livestock odor whatsoever. The property cleaners and caretakers all stopped by to say "hi" and were very nice. I would return here in a heartbeat!

We loved experiencing the farm at Rocky Ridge Outpost. The animals were all so fun! The seasonal hosts (from PA) were so kind, helpful, and friendly. Our children absolutely loved seeing all the animals, especially the babies. The playground was such a nice escape for our kids who had been on a 2 week road trip. Would definitely recommend for families with kids. Cabin was much nicer than we expected, since there aren’t photos of the inside. But it is a bit rustic, as described. We would absolutely visit again and recommend.

Stayed here a couple of nights while fishing the Green River. A little on the small side for 2 grown men, but we have absolutely no complaints. Location, scenery, accommodations were awesome. I've never met an unpleasant person in Utah, and these owners were no different. I'll be staying again next year.

Amazing doesn't even cover it. It's a great place to get away from it all and be close to nature. We were there for a family reunion and it was so great to reconnect with our family. Cute petting zoo, pond and great ambiance. Loved the petroglyphs and learning all about them as well as some of the history of the area. Close to Flaming Gorge and all the recreation opportunities there as well.
