Very beautiful and unique area! The drive through it is super pretty. Definitely worth the detour if in the area. Very interesting rock formations and gives that awesome vibe of nature we all love so much. I wish we had more time to explore. Will definitely stop back again sometime!

If you are going to the Flaming Gorge you should definitely add the Sheep Creek Canyon Geological loop in the Ashley forest to your itinerary. The views are spectacular. The pictures just don’t do it justice.
